Baby Joel...not going to be the baby anymore

You must remember Joel! I had the pleasure of photographing him for the first time almost a year ago. You can see that post here, and then at his first birthday party his mommy and daddy asked me to come photograph that special day. You can see that post here. My, how Joel has grown! I cannot believe that he is 18 months old! He is such a cutie and definitely on the go! This is a very special time in his life as he will soon have a big responsibility of being a BIG brother. His sister is due this February! I just know that Joel will be a great big brother and take good care of little sis. We went to Maryville College for our session as that is where Christie went to college. Her and Jenna are good friends and co-workers so they came up with the location together. I love when my clients show me new fun places that I have never been and once again, I will say that Maryville College was a beautiful place! Joel definitely kept all three of us busy running around after him, as I think it was a game to him to see who could keep up with him. He was so much fun and I can't wait to photograph him and his new sister more in the near future. Thank you Christie and Wade for continuing to use me to capture your families special moments.
 look at those sweet eyes;)

Better hurry, baby brother on the way

You may remember Milas and Jubal that I photographed some time ago. You know the two that I loved their names because of the uniqueness! Well I got to photograph them again along with Jenna and Greg and Jenna's belly because Milas and Jubal are going to have a brother soon. Well actually now that I am writing this post I will go ahead and tell you that baby brother is already here. He came last Wednesday. Jenna says that they are doing great but have not posted a pic. (which I hope she does very soon) yet, for that I cannot wait to see. We had alot of fun as we went to Maryville College and walked around. That is where Jenna went to school. I had never been and am so glad I got a chance to go, because it was so beautiful and peaceful there. The boys had a chance to run around and kind of explore which was fun. We stepped on the leaves just to hear them crunch (always been a favorite thing of mine to do, I just try not to let on that's what I am doing.) Thank you Jenna and Greg and boys and Congratulations on baby Dominic. I'm sure he is a bundle of joy!

this is my favorite one. I have a thing for funny face pictures;)

And Caeden will make Four

Destiny, one of my super great friends asked me to take some maternity photos for her...Of course I said YES! I was so excited! I love love love Destiny and her family! I CANNOT wait until Caeden gets here so I can take that first look at him and them hold him and then squeeze him. (not to hard though Destiny, I promise) I just know he is going to be such a little cutie, just like Cameron. I still remember when he was born, how tiny he was and how stinkin' cute he was. Apparently Mr. Caeden is going to be a bit bigger than Cameron was as he is already 7+ lbs and not due for another few weeks;) Anyway, so Destiny, Daniel, Cameron and I meet up at the park and go strolling around and we had lots of fun. I swear I could hang around Cameron, (no offense Destiny and Daniel) all day and never get tired of him! He is the sweetest little thing ever! He helped me figure out where we would go next and helped me pick some flowers and everything! I love that little guy with all my heart. So I will leave you with this. Destiny, I love you so much. I know we don't get to hang out as much as we would like to and talk on the phone alot (even though I cannot stand talking on the phone) but I know you are a true friend because we always pick up right where we left off. Like we had just talked yesterday every time! I hope you enjoy your photos and I am thankful to be your friend so I was able to capture this special time for you! And now....

See, look at this little cutie pie! I mean who wouldn't wanna hang out with him ALL day?!?!

and....my favorite from the whole day! more from this to come!

Mandie+Patrick=Lovebirds, Yes!

Mandie and Patrick are getting married next summer and they have chosen me to document this special time in their lives. I couldn't be more thrilled! As I write this post, I am thinking to myself, "please try not to spell anything wrong, try to not have to use spell check this one time!" I have already went back and corrected about 5 words spelled wrong, but I will try to finish without using it, spell check that is! I could tell from the first meeting with Mandie and Patrick that they were madly in love just by the way they looked at one another, by the way they smiled at each other and the way they just had that look. You can always tell! And then when I had the chance to photograph them for their engagement session in downtown Knoxville it was evident! These lovebirds are truly madly deeply in love with the other! Now, it wasn't all serious and it wasn't all fun and games, it was a nice mixture of both. I think myself, Mandie and Patrick both had some quotes that we all will remember from the session for some time to come. In my words I will describe it as a very comfortable, fun engagement session as we strolled around downtown and chatted. I felt like old buddies with the two of them and that is just what I like! I hope you two enjoy the photos. I really had such a fun time and cannot wait until the wedding day! It is going to be a blast!

Donna, Blake+ the Fam

I met Donna and Blake and the rest of the family in the Old City for their photo shoot and I tell ya I NEVER get tired of being in the Old City. When Donna and I had talked about it, I was super excited because I love it so much! They were a super fun family to shoot! Blake turned 16 this year which is of course a BIG thing so Donna wanted to get some shots of him for this big time in his life;) I think he probably thought I was super spastic which is totally okay because I normally am. The good thing is I didn't fall or trip on this shoot which is a big plus for me so I didn't have to explain how I was super clumsy to this family;) I hope you all enjoy your pictures as much as I enjoyed shooting them and spending time with you guys!
