And Caeden will make Four

Destiny, one of my super great friends asked me to take some maternity photos for her...Of course I said YES! I was so excited! I love love love Destiny and her family! I CANNOT wait until Caeden gets here so I can take that first look at him and them hold him and then squeeze him. (not to hard though Destiny, I promise) I just know he is going to be such a little cutie, just like Cameron. I still remember when he was born, how tiny he was and how stinkin' cute he was. Apparently Mr. Caeden is going to be a bit bigger than Cameron was as he is already 7+ lbs and not due for another few weeks;) Anyway, so Destiny, Daniel, Cameron and I meet up at the park and go strolling around and we had lots of fun. I swear I could hang around Cameron, (no offense Destiny and Daniel) all day and never get tired of him! He is the sweetest little thing ever! He helped me figure out where we would go next and helped me pick some flowers and everything! I love that little guy with all my heart. So I will leave you with this. Destiny, I love you so much. I know we don't get to hang out as much as we would like to and talk on the phone alot (even though I cannot stand talking on the phone) but I know you are a true friend because we always pick up right where we left off. Like we had just talked yesterday every time! I hope you enjoy your photos and I am thankful to be your friend so I was able to capture this special time for you! And now....

See, look at this little cutie pie! I mean who wouldn't wanna hang out with him ALL day?!?!

and....my favorite from the whole day! more from this to come!

Mandie+Patrick=Lovebirds, Yes!

Mandie and Patrick are getting married next summer and they have chosen me to document this special time in their lives. I couldn't be more thrilled! As I write this post, I am thinking to myself, "please try not to spell anything wrong, try to not have to use spell check this one time!" I have already went back and corrected about 5 words spelled wrong, but I will try to finish without using it, spell check that is! I could tell from the first meeting with Mandie and Patrick that they were madly in love just by the way they looked at one another, by the way they smiled at each other and the way they just had that look. You can always tell! And then when I had the chance to photograph them for their engagement session in downtown Knoxville it was evident! These lovebirds are truly madly deeply in love with the other! Now, it wasn't all serious and it wasn't all fun and games, it was a nice mixture of both. I think myself, Mandie and Patrick both had some quotes that we all will remember from the session for some time to come. In my words I will describe it as a very comfortable, fun engagement session as we strolled around downtown and chatted. I felt like old buddies with the two of them and that is just what I like! I hope you two enjoy the photos. I really had such a fun time and cannot wait until the wedding day! It is going to be a blast!

Donna, Blake+ the Fam

I met Donna and Blake and the rest of the family in the Old City for their photo shoot and I tell ya I NEVER get tired of being in the Old City. When Donna and I had talked about it, I was super excited because I love it so much! They were a super fun family to shoot! Blake turned 16 this year which is of course a BIG thing so Donna wanted to get some shots of him for this big time in his life;) I think he probably thought I was super spastic which is totally okay because I normally am. The good thing is I didn't fall or trip on this shoot which is a big plus for me so I didn't have to explain how I was super clumsy to this family;) I hope you all enjoy your pictures as much as I enjoyed shooting them and spending time with you guys!

I am to blessed to be stressed

So, at church yesterday the pastor preached on things that we should praise. Not necessarily the BIG things, but the smaller things. He told a story about this lady at the church he used to preach at that had a really bad case of arthritis, yet every time the church doors were open she was there. He remembered asking her how she was and her response every time was "I am to blessed to be stressed." He knew that she must be in pain. He could tell by the way she would walk, by the way that she would have to carry her bible underneath her arm because she simply could not hold it in her hands, yet she never complained. I think to myself, what things do I complain about that I really shouldn't? What small things that I think are so awful are really so minor compared to how badly some people have it? So today, I closed my eyes for a few moments and I thought about it? What small things that sometimes I take for granted should I praise the lord for daily?

{My eyes} Without them, I could not see my beautiful children and husband everyday. I could not see the beauty of everyday life that I see through my lens.

{My ears} Without them, I could not hear my children say mommy, (as annoying as I may SAY it is sometimes, what would I do if I could never hear that word again?) I could not hear my lovely husband call me sweetheart and darling and the other cute names that he comes up with for me.

{My hands} Without them, I could not be typing this post and tell this story in hopes to touch one persons heart the way that it did mine yesterday. Without them I could not feel the warmth of my babies the day each of them were born.

That leads me to this photo, of my daughter Taylure. She is so happy in this photo. You may all remember it from our pumpkin patch experience;) But, it brings joy to my heart to praise HIM for what he has given me in all 3 of my children. I am WAY to blessed to be stressed!

Loads of fun with 5 great families.

...Yes, I'm talking about the fall mini sessions! Here is a few pictures followed by my very first slideshow I put together from the fall mini sessions;) I know, I know I need to work on the slideshow presentation, but I don't claim to be a computer genuis, you know;) I had so much fun with all of you! Please enjoy!

Playing Around

I recently met a super fun couple, Whitney and Nicholas! They were super FUN because they wanted to have their engagement session at the playground;) When she first e-mailed me about it, I thought "that sounds like an awesome idea!" You know me, I know me some playgrounds! I probably know where every playground in Knoxville and the surounding counties are! So, we met up and I said to them "Let's play." They played on the tire swing, the slides, the monkey  bars and OF course the swingset! It was alot of fun! Now, of course I haven't forgot about my little buddy Tucker that came along. Tucker is their baby/puppy and he is the cutest thing EVER! He was so good the whole time and even let little kiddies come over and pet him. We had a whole lot of fun and I know I def. was in my comfort zone being at the playground and all;) Whitney and Nicholas are getting married in February on a cruise, well because that is originally where they met. They went as a big group of friends and once they met they didn't part from each other the entire rest of the time. They lived in two different states for a while and visited each other often. For this very reason they decided they just HAD to be married on a cruise ship;) But of course you do!!! Congratulations to you both and I wish you well in a life long marriage.

I had to keep yelling out, "Tucker" for him to look at me for even a second. He was very interested in all of the kids playing at the park, not my stinking camera! DUH!

There's the little cutie! Tucker, being such a good puppy;)

Sometimes.... I talk to myself

My kids wonder what I am doing. Heck I wonder what I am doing! Today I went to have my hair did! It needed it bad! And i mean BAD! I had to make a trip by Starbucks, well because I passed one and I wanted one really much. So I get my Java Chip and I say out loud "mmmm, Java Chip, I love you" and then I think I'm really weird! Anyway, I may be wierd but my drink was really good! On that note, I have to show some pictures of my adorable kids at Halloween and some others I took this weekend;) Happy fall everyone!
